This course focuses on the introductory concepts and general overview of Botany as the branch of biology concerned with the scientific study of plants including their structure, physiology, ecology, distribution, classification, as well as their relevance to medical applications and economic importance.

The course aims to provide students with a basic understanding of nature, scope, and techniques used in the field of counseling psychology, including approaches in the assessment and interventions in various psychological disorders. The course also discusses the roles, functions, and ethical considerations involved in the practice of the profession.

This course is designed to involve students in critically and creatively examining psychological topics that are currently relevant in the field of Psychology within contemporary society. Sample topics to be included are: media influence, how the discipline of psychology is represented through media, application of technology in treatment, new issues in childhood/adolescence; increasing issues of specific disorders and teen issues, post traumatic disorder and the emerging psychological needs today. Thus, contents may subject to change from time to time.
