Laboratory Class for ZOO 300 - Anatomy & Physiology. This class is intended for the formative practice and application of concepts and principles presented in the various lecture modules. Lab activities are accomplished through worksheets corresponding to each of the topics presented.

This course deals with the study of the different parts of the human body and their functions. It uses a systems approach to human anatomy, and includes essential anatomical concepts, definition of anatomical terms, correlation of human biologic structure with normal physiologic functions, basic regulatory mechanisms that promotes homeostasis, and familiarization to some physiologic parameters that serve as indicators for the individual’s state of health.

Orientation into the rudiments of psychological testing. The principles, methods and uses of psychological testing are tackled. The administration, scoring, and interpretation of objective cognitive and affective tests are used in various applied fields of psychology, particularly the educational, industrial, clinical, and government settings are covered. Ethical considerations as well as current trends and issues in psychological testing in the Philippine settings are discussed.
Classroom Policies
Attendance in class. You are expected to attend class regularly. You are only allowed 6 cuts, excused or unexcused. For borderline cases, your attendance and participation in class will determine whether you will get the higher grade.
No make-up presentations or exams will be given, except in the case of an extreme circumstance, such as, serious illness, accident, or death in the family. Official documents will be required. In such cases, we would appreciate verbal notice before or within 24 hours from the exam schedule.
Classroom behavior. You are expected to be prompt, attentive, and polite.
Submission of requirements. Everyone should submit class requirements before the end of a grading period, unless otherwise stated. Late papers will face a reduction in the paper’s final grade.

A course providing an overview of psychological concepts, theories and research findings for effective human interactions and performance in the workplace. Topics include organizational structures and systems, organizational communication processes, leadership, motivation, conflict resolution, problem solving and decision making, team dynamics, efforts in human resource development and management, and organizational change and development.

This course covers both quantitative and qualitative field methods. It includes the design and administration of surveys, interviews, and focus group discussion. Learners will also be oriented on the use of secondary data and observations.
