This course is designed to introduce the French language as a foreign language to students in aim of enriching their language capabilities and cultural knowledge in preparation for their future endeavors.
The course features several imaginary characters to make your Chinese learning experience more enjoyable; international students Ding Libo, Lin Na, and Ma Dawei, Chinese teachers Mr. Yang, Ms. Chen, and Professor Zhang, Chinese students Song Hua, and Wang Xiaoyun, and Chinese reporter Lu Yuping. They, together with the help of your instructor, will act as tour guides for your adventure, and guiding you and your classmates into the fascination world of Chinese, the language with the largest number of speakers in the world today. Now let's get to know our companions for this journey.
What's more, the course begins by introducing some sounds unique to the Chinese language, including tones, and as to how the words are spelled out and pronounced.
By the end of this course, you will be able to express some everyday greetings and expressions in Chinese.
